Shaykh Bahdon Robleh
Imam • Pillars of Guidance Community Centre (Melbourne)
Bahdon Robleh serves as an imam at the Pillars of Guidance Community Centre in Melbourne, where he leads, teaches and mentors members of the community. He spent nearly a decade studying Islam in South Africa, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies before continuing to specialise in Islamic Jurisprudence.
Bahdon is passionate about the Qur’an, youth development and community engagement. He regularly teaches, mentors and contributes to community initiatives across Melbourne.

Yasin Amin
Founder, AAQC
Yasin Amin works as a civil engineer and actively serves his community wherever he can. As one of the founding members of the Annual Australian Qur’an Competition, he played an instrumental role in establishing the inaugural event in 2025.
Yasin continues to deepen his understanding of Islam and contributes with sincerity and purpose through community service, collaboration and initiatives that strengthen connection to the Qur’an and the wider community.

Kingston Wako
Founder, AAQC
Kingston Wako is an aspiring Hafidh of the Qur’an, a dedicated masjid volunteer, and a founder within the logistics industry. He is also one of the founding members of the Annual Australian Qur’an Competition (AAQC), helping establish and support a national platform that celebrates and honours the Qur’an across Australia.
Since embracing Islam in 2023, Kingston has remained deeply committed to personal growth, community service, and the pursuit of beneficial knowledge. He actively contributes to initiatives that strengthen faith, foster connection, and support the development of future generations.
Holding a Bachelor of Commerce, Kingston combines academic knowledge with practical leadership experience across business operations, logistics, and team management. He brings ambition, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of purpose to both community and professional endeavours. Known for his work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement, he strives to create meaningful impact through entrepreneurship, service, and faith-driven leadership.

Shamil Usoof has a background in sales and marketing and is a dedicated volunteer within his local masjid communities. As a founding member of the Annual Australian Qur’an Competition (AAQC), he has played an important role in supporting the vision of a national platform that celebrates, preserves, and promotes excellence in Qur’anic memorisation and recitation across Australia.
An aspiring student of knowledge currently studying at the Pillars of Guidance Community Centre (PGCC), Shamil is passionate about Islamic education, personal development, and community service. He combines strong communication skills with creativity, strategic thinking, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the Muslim community.
Drawing on his professional experience in sales and marketing, Shamil brings valuable skills in engagement, promotion, relationship-building, and project support. Known for his enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to serve, he is committed to helping initiatives that strengthen faith, build community connections, and inspire the next generation to develop a deeper relationship with the Qur’an.
